On Thursday August 8 I called Krauss and Crane for service. The problem was that I lost all cooling in my home during the night. South Florida is currently experiencing unusually high temperatures so losing A/C was especially uncomfortable for anyone suffering health issues. At 5am I called and left a message asking for someone to call and set up a service call. At around 7:30am I received a call from the service department and a service call was set up for ASAP but no later than 4pm. At 9:15 am I got a call from the service technician "Henry" saying he was on his way. 15 min later he was at my home. The A/C air handler was "iced" up. Henry turned off the system and said it would take a bit for the system to defrost which had to happen before he could diagnosis the system. Henry left for another service call and returned about an hour later. Henry returned a total of 3 times in the next 21/2 hours. Finally, the unit defrosted and could be serviced. Henry was extremely professional and personable. The unit was service and now is performing as good as new. I feel the service was outstanding. It was quick, professional, and done at a reasonable cost. I can also say the Henry returning 3 times to service the unit was above and beyond. I would not hesitate a moment in recommending Krauss and Crane to anyone needing service. Read Less

Had Krauss install a new Trane A/C system in 2023. I signed up for 2 service calls for year 2024. I live in a condo so condenser is on bldg roof. Unit cools my apt nicely. So far, I am satisfied. I chose Krauss for their 60 years in business. Also, they are members of BBB. Service personnel are friendly, on time and professional. Read Less
